When we were approached by Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live to take their current running campaign for their first ever domestic stadium show and turn it into something even more immersive and visually spectacular, rather than reinventing the brand's proven creative direction, we focused on elevating it by dialing up the scale, intensity and realism to better capture the energy audiences experience the moment they step into the arena. Every design decision was made with one goal in mind: create artwork that feels as epic as the live event itself.
We rebuilt the key art around a dynamic, realistic composition featuring the actual monster trucks performing in an explosive arena environment. Larger-than-life trucks soar through the air amid dirt, debris, pyrotechnics, and dramatic lighting, creating a scene packed with motion, excitement and spectacle. The final composition was designed to encapsulate everything fans expect from a Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live show: jaw-dropping stunts, incredible horsepower, nonstop action and an unforgettable atmosphere that leaps off the page.
A major focus of the update was giving the exclusive Boise truck the spotlight it deserved. By carefully positioning it within the composition and reinforcing it through the overall visual hierarchy, we ensured this market-specific feature became an immediate focal point without disrupting the balance of the campaign.
Alongside the visual enhancements, we refined the messaging hierarchy across the layout, improving readability, strengthening calls to action, and organizing supporting information to create a campaign that performs as effectively as it captivates. The result is artwork that remains true to the established brand while delivering a more cinematic, high-impact experience that reflects the scale and excitement of the event itself.
